The Fan Sex Position

Why try standing positions

They feel urgent and spontaneous and can happen almost anywhere in the house.

Go slowly the first time, use pillows for support and keep talking to each other. If anything feels uncomfortable, stop and switch to a position you both enjoy.

Tips for standing positions

• Height difference? Use a step, stairs or a low stool so hips line up.
• Use a wall, door or counter for support instead of pure strength.
• Start slowly – balance first, speed later.
• Non-slip surfaces only: socks on a wooden floor are a bad idea.
